Charity Graphics Portfolio
See some of the charity graphics work I have produced over the years
Posters for the Butterfly Hospice
These poster graphics were designed for The Butterfly Hospice Trust, a local charity based in Boston who provide palliative care. I will be working closely with the Hospice over time to produce their Graphics for a variety of uses. These examples show a poster for their upcoming Ugly Bugs Superhero Marathon event, for which I created a character to use across all branding, and a poster for their Proms event which made use of vintage and retro colours.2
Poster for Charity Quiz Night
This flyer was designed for a local quiz night, the aim of which was to raise funds for 2 causes. The causes were World Child Cancer, and Wyberton FC U14s, a local community-run youth football club. A simple Illustrator project, the highlight was customising a stock vector of a "thinking man" in order for him to be wearing Wyberton FC's football strip as opposed to a suit.
Branding for Party in the Ark Event
I was asked by a local charity to come up with some new branding for them to use across social media and promotional materials for their annual "Party in the Ark" event - a mini music festival complete with bands and camping. The logos I have created have since been used across Facebook both for the charity's page and the event they run, and will be used on upcoming printed material also.
Postcard for Butterfly Hospice
These postcard graphics were designed for The Butterfly Hospice Trust, a local charity based in Boston who provide palliative care. One of a series of postcards focused on increasing volunteer numbers for the Hospice, this one was for Retail and Shop staff for their Boston, Spalding and Skegness stores. The others will be focused on other areas such as Inpatient Care, Administration and more. It has been printed in a short run for use by the Hospice and will be printed in large quantities in time. I will be working closely with the Hospice over time to produce their Graphics for a variety of uses.
Posters for ICF Beach Wheelchair Charity Days
This poster came from a Facebook request to design a poster for a Beach Wheelchair Charity Day with the recently launched Beach Wheelchair service, Beach-Ability. After the first event, another poster was requested and completed for the September event based at the Moody Cow in Ingoldmells.
Poster for CoppaFeel Charity Event
This flyer was designed for a local charity event called "Clash of the Titans - The Rematch", a charity obstacle course event with all the proceeds going to the CoppaFeel Breast Cancer awareness charity. From an initial Facebook message, and an existing flyer idea, the brand new were created within a few hours and were then published across Facebook. There is the potential for these to be printed as physical flyers also.
Posters for the Butterfly Hospice
These poster graphics were designed for The Butterfly Hospice Trust, a local charity based in Boston who provide palliative care. These examples show a poster for a 2018 Golf Day in aid of the Hospice, and also an updated version of their Urgent Appeal for a variety of new stock for their retail outlets.
Peaky Blinder Race Night Poster for the Butterfly Hospice
This was something I really enjoyed making, as a fan of the show. I was provided an idea of what to work towards from a poster for another Hospice event and was given a simple itemised list of what needed to go onto the poster. I used these starting points to craft a bespoke poster for the Hospice, which riffed on the ideas from previous posters but ultimately tried to keep a 1910s aesthetic to keep in line with the show, so heavy use of browns and vintage colours.
